Imperfectly perfect! So many layers to this album. Songs that are loose, yet cohesive at the same time, which I believe is the secret sauce to the Stones greatness. Is this the Stones’ best? Depends on your mood I think. Let it Bleed, Sticky Fingers and Exile make a three way tie for best in my book.

The dirtest rock and roll album ever. Tumblin Dice is THE most under rated song of all time! Listen to it!!! When I listen to this album I can almost imagine being in one of Keith's basement rooms during recording.

“Exile on Main St.” is pure rock n’ roll at it’s finest! It’s arguably the greatest rock album… ever!!

Hard to believe this album came out in 1972 and blew us all away! It never changed. People and kids from every generation are still playing this album and loving it. My 20 y.o. Granddaughter was playing Exile on Main street on her new record player just yesterday and she’s loving it!

There is, as someone pointed out, definitely some filler on here but there is way, way too much for one album. None of it is bad listening and most of it is magnificent.
Without question…
