  • My favorite stones album

This is just classic stones at their best in my opinion. I only wish this deluxe edition had a live version of "Can’t you hear me knocking" such as that from the Live at the Fonda Theatre CD. It truly is a well engineered live version that captured the sounds well - probably thanks to all the low noise numerous channels of digital processing that became available.

Music as primal force. It’s essential rock listening, but it’s difficult to explain why. A kaleidoscope of sounds and styles from blues/country/jam/jazz. Jagger, only 30 at the time, sounds like he’s seen it all, twice … maybe he had. A+

Paid the deluxe price but Wild Horses didn’t download. Had to purchase separately. Not happy.

This is one of my personal favorite The Rolling Stones albums. This album has a great flow, track after track. Also, this album has great vocals, great drum solos, and great guitar solos as well. Finally, the instruments wrap around the vocals like no other, and intertwine perfectly. Definitely looking forward to the next limited play album, and extended play album from The Rolling Stones.
