Some Girls rocked. “Stones Rock Texas 1978” is the concert documentary film. They play all the songs from Some Girls live With a fresh new songs performance unseen before.

I was 17 when this came out, and there was no way I would accept the Satisfaction bad boys compromising with dreaded disco. Decades later, current best music has much more in common with disco than hard blues rock. Most the songs on here sound darn good today, but not all. Far Away Eyes sounds more like Forrest Gump at the helm, and Before They Make Me Run sounds like some sort of creepy garden gnome muttering to himself. Still, it's better than the sloppy muddled Exile mess that makes music critics slobber.

What else can you say. Greatest punk album of all time. Filled with raw classics

This record captures late 1970s newyork perfectly. Disco , punk , new wave , country and hard rock blues. The stones could do it all. They had the confidence , the swagger and the tunes. A must for any Rolling Stones fan and a must for any fan of rock n roll. A lot of great rock n roll tracks by the stones on this record.

After a decade of brilliant records all must and do come to and end. They never quite returned to this apex again.....and that's OK. No band in history had a better run and I doubt any band ever will. This album is sensational the first time you hear and the 500th time. I bought this album on vinyl when I was 12 and it hasn't disappointed by since.

I had no idea that this was as old as me. Knowing that is pretty cool. Beast of Burden is a favorite.

This is one of my favorite Stones albums. No it doesn’t have the Mick Taylor licks or the Brian Jones touch. To me it’s the band showing they can do any style of music. Disco, Punk, Rock, Country, Blues. Its got it all, to me an absolute must have for any true Stones fan.

Some highly underrated Stones songs on this album.
