As I said, a step up from what he had released but lacked the Bowie punch that we got before! Thankfully he did do a really good album after this one!

This is my favorite Bowie album. It also ranks in my Top 20 Best Albumns Of All Time. Bowie and Robert Fripp are a perfect match...
Db's one and only ONE great album.

Never understood the praise of DB. Kinda lane to be honest. However this is the album to own, As for the rest be4 and after? kinda lame.....

To me, this is Bowie’s last great album. After this he was sucked into the 80’s over-produced dance music (I do love “87 and Cry” and “New York’s In Love”) and then....the absolute end of his wonderful creativity by teaming up with Megalomaniac Reeves Gabrels who is at best a sterile guitar player with no soul musically or otherwise.
