By far, my favorite Beatles LP. Whether its in the shadow of murderer Phil Spector's shadow, or stripped naked, there is not a bad note, or lyric on this album. Just the harmonies on 'Two of Us' alone rank as a sweet throwback to their roots of the Everly Brothers and it does not ever disappoint. You can see and hear how much fun Beatlesare having while working on this project. Buy all of the different versions and be overwhelmed with their undisputed songcraft genius ! In my humble opinion, one of the top-10 albums ever produced.

Super album that is even more enjoyable with the layers peeled off so I can have a look at the construction process. And love the in between takes banter. Sounds great!

Though has anyone heard “Carnival of Light”? I was told only a handful of people have. It’s out there Paul. You know it and we know it.

I am loving all these Super Deluxe remixed versions of The Beatles albums. It’s like listening to the albums for the first time plus we Beatlemaniacs get the extra stuff. It’s recorded history by the greatest band ever. Well worth the price. As McCartney once said: “It’s the bloody Beatles….shut up!”

It's great to finally have the original mix of the Glyn John's version of the "Get Back" album. It's a little rough, maybe a little to rough for some that like higher production values, but it fits in with what the original concept of what the the Beatles wanted to do; live studio performances, minimal production, (almost) no overdubbing, with off the cuff banter between takes. Also included is a nice selection of outtakes from both the Twickenham Film Studios Sessions, (even though these were not recorded on multi-track audio tape, and come from the actual sound from film clips so they are in mono) and the Apple Studio Sessions. I rate it 4 stars, instead of 5, because of a lack of takes from the Rooftop Concert. I suspect that in the soon-to be-released documentary, we might get this once it is available for download purchase in a few months after the Disney Plus premiere. This issue only includes one new outtake from that session. As for the new remix of the Phil Spector produced version, originally released in 1970, Giles Martin has slightly toned down, but not removed, Phil Spector's orchestral overdub embellishments on the songs that have them, which is a positive. For those that want their "Let It Be" more polished, yet de-Spectorized, I suggest the "Let It Be...Naked," release issued in 2003.

Congrats to Giles Martin for doing what he could with this, too bad it was Phil Spector’s Let It Be and not the Naked version….I respect Spector for what he did in the music industry with his Wall of Sound but that just doesn’t mix well with The Beatles and it shows. Overall great mixes just wish it was Let It Be…Naked instead but I enjoy to think of Phil Spectors version as a soundtrack to the movie Let It Be to explain why it sounds so rough.

There’s so much great content in this release, the Get Back album and the outtakes from these legendary sessions honestly make it a lot more interesting than the past releases for me. The remixes are gorgeous too! Giles Martin really did this release justice.

maybe revolver, rubber soul and help next? 50 years later it is still an awesome record/album/collection of songs-- heard a lot of this on a bootleg back in the 70/80's but here it is all cleaned up-- worth the wait and price-- they gave us so much-- maybe now we can let them all grow up and have lives as individuals-- :) can't wait for the movie!!!
