I’ve been both a fan of TITK since happening on their music a couple of years ago, and have been a National devotee for much longer. I couldn’t make it to any of the shows when they toured together, but was both excited and intrigued to hear about the collaboration on the new album. I must admit that I hadn’t been sure how the two would fit together, but on first listen to Bashed Out it all makes complete sense! …Aaron’s touch is clear throughout, but his influence is both sensitive and complementary to Kate’s talent. I’m hoping we won’t have seen the last of this collaboration, but in the meantime this album will be getting a good deal of play from me! …how about a tour together? …and maybe some North American shows? (although I’d try my best to see you wherever you play!). Hats off to all involved …keep it coming!
