An amazing debut from Ghost. Their more theatrical and melodic version of metal is both creepy (in more of a fun way) and larger-than-life sounding. My only problems are some tracks kind of outshining others and a somewhat lo-fi recording. Still great.

I really like the themes of Opus Eponymous. Whilst I don’t label myself as being a big fan of metal, I still appreciate the beauty of this album. Personally, I think it’s one of the best albums of the 2010’s.
