One man's treasure is another's trash. This is way over produced and definitely not for me. A waste of my money!

I have not heard the whole new album, but the duet w Eric Johnson took it to another stratosphere. My goodness.

THIS RECORD SOUNDS GREAT!!! Eric Gales is a Real Talent and it is great to hear a blend of musicianship with a focus on the production and breathe-ability of the songs. I don't want to hear just another blues album ,but I do want to hear a blues infused modern sounding record. And I think this is exactly it. Even though the riffs are heavy and deep it doesn't come off as metal. Smooth Vocals .This type of Gales record in my opinion is what I would think Hendrix would be doing if he were living in our time. And it is obvious that Gales has ingested many influences and spit them out into a soulful, funky, intense yet smooth product...I love it ....Keep it up........This is a formula that needs to be followed kind of what John Mayer has done....You can be very musical yet commercially successful.Less is more, especially if you want to sell records. And I hope for much success for the music that we all enjoy.I know it's hard for real players to work their way back to the mainstream but it helps to have producers who know what the mainstream can accept .Keep striving for that ,and that should keep the lights on in the studio so you can make all the music you want to make...Peace
