  • a let down

a true let down for Erutan. This album is not good, the songs are to simple, repetitive to the point where all the songs sound the same and become boring This album is a poor attempt to do renaissance celtic style music. The problem is it comes across as a poor american style music that is neither renaissance or celtic.

It's absolutely beautiful, every single song is perfectly mastered. Every Irish dancer should purchase, these are the best practice songs I've ever used. Wonderfully traditional and almost magical-sounding, erutan has done it once again.

I have several of Erutan's albums, and this one is so good. Please support her and buy the whole album! The whole thing is very beautiful.

I have to say this is wonderful. I have been looking for old songs with the middle aged feeling to it. All the songs in this album are wonderful, they range from happy and bouncy ( making me want to get up and dance ) to being peaceful ( letting me have something to listen to and relax. ) These songs and others from Erutan are just outstanding and are what I have been looking for. I hope to see more songs like this be put out by her. Instrumental and vocal. Thank you Erutan. I hope you had as much fun making these songs as I do listening to them.

Not enough positive adjectives in the English language to do this justice. Buy this album. Every single song is fantastic.

As someone who enjoys and takes an active interest in celtic, medieval, and Renaissance styles of music, I'm very happy about Erutan's new selection of music in this album. As a fan of Erutan's (in my opinion) distinct music style, I still sense the same "aura" that permeats her previous albums' music, this time combined with melodies from long ago. however, I also hear a bit of experimentation with different styles. One of my favorite aspects of this (and previous) albums is Erutan's inclination to use hand clapping, nature sounds and her gentle-sounding ocarina. <3
