right, so if your thinking about buying the whole album don't. I did and regret it,I'll quote another review "dont buy the whole pig just the bacon". Pig D is an awsome band but the only songs worth money are-Oven,Flesh Upon Gear,PIXIE,Burning Sodom,and maybe Monolith.
top 2 are pixe and burning of sodom

i absolutly hate metal because you have bands like pig destroyer who do it so well, and all the others dont even come close. if you like metal, grind, punk, sludge, hardcore; buy everything by this band. they coheesivly blend all the best parts of every extream genre into one brilliant sound. personal favorite right here with terrifier. oh and for some reason the dwarves cover isnt on painter... find it, its great

Honestly, if you cant handle the raw broken rib inducing first offerings of the only grindcore band that matters, just go lapping at the saggy teats of mallcore overkill bands. As for this album, well it stands harshly by its title. I had heard and became engrossed in their latest and more devestating offerings before ever hearing this album. It was a bit hard to take in at first, because its just an all out grind frenzy, with no other tactic but to destroy you with its power. Once you get past the shrill ugliness of the actual sound and music, you actually begin to realize how amazing it is. What other band sounds this hell spawned, or evil? most of the material is under a minute so they make it short yet memorable. Most importantly the lyrics, J.R. Hayes is a poet of the unholy, every song on this disc continas the most mind blowing and gorgeously unsound and shocking lyrics. You'd think this guy spent some time behind bars to write such S**t, but its incredible. All in All, real Pig fans already know what's up, this is for you kids still listeing to Mallcore. This album should be played full time in Prison Yards. Pig for life

I do have to say that of all of the grindcore bands that I've listened to, these guys are up there with the old-school stuff like Napalm Death, Carcass, and Repulsion. I have been covinced by this to buy some more of their stuff.

Alright this album is great. This has a lot of hard to find songs from splits that you may not of heard. Of course the quality is a little bad but you get used to it ad it's not that big of a deal. Also the 2 cover songs for Carcass are AMAZING! It's way better then Carcass x10000000 it blew me away. Also the Dark Angel cover is amazing. Those three cover songs I say are the best. If your a fan of PxDx and haven't heard these songs then this is a must buy, you got to add these songs to your collection if your a major pxdx fan. I really don;t tihnk there is one bad song on the cd but sure i do liek some more then others. So if you already have P.I.T.Y and Terrfiyer album and you still need your pxdx fix then be sure to get this one!

How could anyone actually listen to this crap and enjoy it? I'll give the drummer props, but everything else is just a bunch of random notes..and not to mention it sounds like some demon has gone and posessed some guy who was already screwed up in the first place and screamed through him. This isn't music...it's noiiiise. A lot of annoying noiiiise.
