So I still haven't found strong enough drugs to match the drugs taken by all of those talented musicians who were taking a break from making music when they chose to partake in this experiment. A phenominal guitarist like Trey Anastasio needs to stop releasing terrible music. Phish is his lifeforce and I'm happy to see that they are rejuvenating.

This album was not made so that you could turn it on and dance the night away. If that’s what you have in mind then go back to your bootlegs. This album is about SOUND - not MELODY. And it’s not so much experimental as it is an experience. It stems from the musical theories of the Neo-Dada artist John Cage, who believed that the audience was as much a part of the experience as the musicians. Therefore, it is made to work WITH you, not FOR you. Understandably most people won’t get it. But for anyone who is interested in this album, you should at least be aware of where Trey is coming from before you dismiss it for it’s entertainment value.

I am a Phish/Trey fan. This one is too experimental/loose and just plain hard to listen to.
