I love Selena and her music, however, I did not like the fact that they split the Disco Medley into two separate songs-a Part I and a Part II. This is why I’m giving it a 4 out of 5. I don’t know the logic or thought process that went into making this decision. If you buy any other Selena albums with the Disco Medley on it, it’s all one song and isn’t split into two separate songs. After all of these years, you would think they’d fix it. The kicker part is, they have the Cumbia Medley and that’s just one single track. I think the reason why they did this screwy split is probably to somehow make more money off of it or they probably feared that the radio stations won’t play the entire song. They only play “radio edits” of songs. If that were the case, they could’ve just gave a Part I and II versions to radio stations and put the whole song onto the soundtrack.
