I hold deep within my heart beautiful memories of hearing and seeing the Late Stan Getz.He was a master of weaving intricate melodies and capturing my emotions.Whatever he did sent chills running up and my spine.Everytime I would hear a song like La Fiesta on my CD player little teardrops start to fall out of the corner of my eye.I also treasure every word that he said about me.As quoted.Attentive listener and loyal jazz fan.I still miss him to this day and know that he is playing to his heart's content in that jiving swinging Heavenly Orchestra.

Lewis & the News were huge stars by the time this was released. It was less commercially successful than previous albums and features Lewis stretching out in style, something the iTunes review covers. What's missing in that review are the other excellent tracks, most with the Tower of Power horns backing. Outstanding songs for any Lewis or T.O.P. fan are "Perfect World," Small World, Pt. 2 (with saxophonist Stan Getz), "Walking with the Kid," "Give Me the Keys," and "Slammin'."

Huey Lewis and the News: Small World has some familiar style songs mixed with some different. All songs are comfortable for listening and doesn't push beyond the band's solid writing. Listening to this group of songs and the band is like setting into a comfortable never wanting to leave. I give this 4 stars because the songs are fun to listen too, but I wish the band could experiment a little to show some edge sound and lyric wise.
