AMAZING

I bought this for my 86-year-old mother who has the original LP from 1956. Too bad it only contains 12 of the 18 song titles listed on the album cover. So... I bought the full 18-song version from amazon for less money. First time I've ever been disappointed with iTunes.

This is the lesser known of the 2 studio albums of the 50s period. I'm not sure if it's better than the first, but it's still good. Lots of good stuff here - Rip It Up, Paralyzed, Long Tall Sally. Again, the singles of this period are more definitive than the album tracks.

The King, as usual, reminding the world of how music once was and what it was going to become. Without him, 95% of the legends you know today would not exist. His recording of It's Now or Never was THE reason behind Barry White's career, and this is just one of the billions he's influenced.
