I don't understand Yiddish or Hebrew, but Cantor Yitchzhak Meir Helfgot's voice in combination with Itzhak Perlman's violin playing filled me with awe. This album is so soulful and beautiful!

Cantor Helfgot sings with a style which makes one want to get up and look up. It’s that uplifting. Perlman brings his classical magic with great emotion to form a bridge to the KCB. The result is something greater than the sum of its components. If you don’t know a word of Yiddish or Hebrew, this will still do something special to your soul.

Absolutely perfect. If I had to pick one album for the rest of my life, this is the one.

I really enjoy Helfgot. Besides the voice, which is so powerful and controlled is the style in which he sings. But this album is special. Itzhak Perlman is a master and combining the two is something wonderful.
