  • Not what I had hoped for

Not gonna lie, this album sounds quite a bit like Good Charlotte did ten years ago! What has been up with this genre lately? It seems like every band is changing their sound. The Expendables, Rebelution, Pacific Dub just to name a few. Could this be the end of the SoCal reggae genre??
  • What a dissapointment...

It took me about three times to listen to this CD to like it. It sounds like rock more than reggae. Sacred for sale and Early Prayers was amazing. They need to go back to that sound. Rebelution is my favorite band but TBS is up there but don't change your sound. Rebelution needs to go back to their old stuff like Courage to Grow. That's how these bands got big why would they try and change. Still love you guys.

You can sell records without conforming to the pop scene. Check out Mellow Wave by Rick Haze. Now that's some evolved roots without sacrificing the foundation. Just sayin.

I'm not positive about how i feel about this sounds but for you guys to put Watsky on your album was a fantastic choice, so you must be doing something right! I'm a big Watsky fan so you might just get me as a fan by association!
  • I dig the changeup

First The Expendables with their un-Proven album, and Rebelution with their awful last album and now this? Man, really miss the sounds from the Late 00's. Terrible to see bands get away from what people liek of them to bring "new" sounds. I'm sure the live shows are something extraordinary, but as far as listening while cruisin? Pity.
  • Tamed

For me its a lot cleaner and tamer than what im used to with TBS. It's not a terrible album and its good music but its not the bad seed sound i really like.

Stop hating on TBS changing their sound. We have all been listening to Early Prayers and Sacred For Sale for a long time, so it's about time they got some fresh jams to broaden their abilities. Even if you don't like the sound the lyrics to each song are very good and some that make you think.
