  • How to Connect Your Brain to Your Heart

First, $8 for 50 songs? Yes Please! Second, need something simple without all the unnecessary chaos, without the overkill of complexity you hear in other music of this genre? Most important, if you are trying to take that long walk, or connect the two most critical pieces of you together, your mind and heart, this guy's music might just do that. I'm not any BS salesman. I'm an engineer, a drummer that plays, played, in metal bands almost all my life. This dude found the simple formula for music I can sit and actually understand and enjoy.

50 Satie pieces for 8$ is just undeniable. Hauntingly simple melodies that are spacious and relaxing and yet somehow dark and passionate are trademark to the early 20th century composer. The music may not immediately be as complex as Ravel or Debussy, but Satie has a spin on music that is incredibly unique and touching that denies categorization. I would recommend his music to anyone

I've been a growing fan of classical music and I have to say that I am highly impressed with this album. It's so emotional and you and can almost hear the lonliness he went through in his work. If you're not looking for the entire Album try Je Te Veux and the Gymnopédies tracks first for good sample of his work. If you're a Trekkie, Erik Satie's work was good enough for Picard it should be good enough for you too! LOL

I've been trying to find the name of the artist who made these beautiful pieces for an impossibly inordinate amount of time. And finally found him, and at 8$ for 50 songs, I was sold.

Swedish pianist Roland Pöntinen has been a stalwart figure on the world concert stage for 25+ years. His stellar work continues with this Satie "cycle". Rewarding interpretations that, in my opinion, are the new standard. At this price, don't hesitate!

Every time I listen to Satie's music its notes shake the very core of my soul. You are missing out on something extraordinary if you pass up this album. This is simply the best thing I've ever bought with just eight dollars. Well worth the bucks.

This is a steal. 8 bucks for 50 songs? yes please. Erik Satie is also a genius. His simplistic melodies are strangely beautiful. Perfect for relaxing or if you're just in one of those kind of moods.
