Saw Damon Fowler Group in Charlotte, NC at Knight Theater opening for BB King. Loved every second of their set! Great energy and great music. Had to buy their album after hearing it...you should do the same.

Love this album even more than Sugar Shack, which is another great CD (get both!). Damon is a very talented musician and he has a great voice. I have seen Damon play a few different times at the Green Parrot - always a fantastic show. He will always take the time to meet fans and seems like a very genuine and decent guy. Hoping he catches on like wildfire - he deserves it!

Damon picked up a guitar at age 10 and all the years of hard work have met at the crossroads of this collection of songs! Best yet to date. 'Devil Got His Way' burns with high octain blues.

Are you sampling this CD while you read? Can you listen to track 8 (Don't Call Me) and NOT buy this album? I can't.

The evolution of Damon's music has astounded his fans for over 15 years; perhaps, most simply, due to the fact that as the quality increases, the sound, soul, and style stay firmly rooted. His unique style plays homage to the blues greats of years gone by while raising the bar of blues music in the future. This album, on the heels of Sugar Shack, does not disappoint!
  • Tight Rope is...

pretty good actually. Has somewhat of a sound to it that's...almost exotic in a way. I love Leon Russel's classic, but this is a pretty great cover.
  • Early Candidate For Album Of The Year

Damon Fowler has really raised the bar with this album. From the prophetic first cut "We've Got a Good Thing", through "Happy Hour", this is one great cd. The tile song is a smokin' tune and the clever cover of Leon Russell's "Tight Rope" is simply ear candy. "28 Degrees" with its pulsing cowbell and slide guitar is a song most bands would kill for yet on this album there's four or five songs better. If you're reading this review hit the BUY ALBUM button. You'll thank me.
