Two stars for two of the greatest singers of the XXth century in Elisabeth Schwarzkopf and Kathleen Ferrier. Otherwise, the sound is dim and unfocused, the conducting lethargic, and the tenor and bass are over-parted. Unless you are fans of the two women singers, look elsewhere.

Have just paid and downloaded this album. The first track, "Kyrie Eleison" seems to be incomplete; the music begins in the middle of the track. This is not a review of the music nor of the production which are excellent based on hearing them elsewhere. But this IS a negative review for Apple and the iTunes Store. Nowhere do I see conveniently apparent the means to correct this problem or failing that receive a refund of my payment. Bad, bad.
