Either this kid, Freddie Gibbs, and Big K.R.I.T., all blow up or I lose all faith in music listeners of today. This album does not have a bad track.

This is why underground rap is best. Artists are hungrier and better.

that hasn't already been said in the other reviews...if you like real hip-hop...I mean, underground, ish-you-won't -hear-in-the-club, going against the mainstream, head nodding, lyrically pointed joints, that make you feel right about being a fan of REAL HIP-HOP, please do yourself a favor and just purchase the album. I tried to scan through the tracks thinking I would only purchase two or three and I couldn't do it. The entire album is classic!!! Trust me, it's worth every dime to hear an emcee that is so left of what's mostly been going on in the rap game for the past 15 years or so. Skyzoo has quickly made my short list of best lyricists of all-time...I'm just mad that I hadn't heard of him until this album (apparently he's been in the game for a while). I know of Little Brother/9th Wonder and that whole NC clique, so I don't know how I missed him...but trust I won't sleep on him again. I cannot reiterate enough...DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND JUST DOWNLOAD THE ENTIRE ALBUM...if you are disappointed by any of the tracks on it, then you're fooling yourself into thinking you are a fan of REAL HIP-HOP!!! This is 'Illmatic' revisited for 2010 and beyond...he brings the heat on every single track!!! My only hope is that Skyzoo stays right where he is...don't get the big head or let anyone tell you that your albums won't sell if you don't sell out...keep it HIP-HOP, keep it RAP and true fans will support you...this will be in heavy rotation in my ride for a long time to come...
  • Pure hip hop.

I just discovered him. And he gave me a little hope for hip hop. He's going nowhere but up. He's amazing with his flow & words. Dopest rapper right now.

Without a doubt one of the top 5 lyrical albums I have ever heard. Every rapper talks about how the game is lacking and how they are going change it. Skyzoo actually does something different that hopefully will change the game and bring it back to insightful lyrics and wordplay. If you like rap this is simply something you have to hear

Hip Hop's blessed to have artists like Skyzoo in the game keeping it real 24/7. When you gather some of Hip Hop's dopest producers and align their beats with Skyzoo's rhymes, you've got a modern classic. 5 stars
