I’m a HUGE Kelis fan. I bout this to FINALLY complete my Kelis collection. I may be a little “old-school” when it comes to my favorite artist: I prefer having the actual CD. After moving, they got damaged and I had to re-buy all the albums. I’m glad I did. Kelis doesn’t disappoint me. From bass thumping beats, thought provoking lyrics, and the ability to vocalize a story, “Kelis Was Here” will have you wondering why you’re in a “Circus”, have you saying “Awww Sh!t” and have you feeling very “Bossy.” I absolutely adore Kelis. New album drops april this year called “Food.” Lead single “Jerk Ribs” is available for download.

She is an Amazing Performer Her voice Is Slick N Smooth Someone u Can Definatly grow to Love...This is My Fav Album, She Let Loose And Did Her Thing....Go Kelis!!!

I purchased the CD in 06 at the age of 27. I still love it today and was upset when I misplaced it. Kelis is her awesome self! She's not trying to imitate no one else. She stays true to whom she is as an entertainer.

I remember being 12 when this cd came out and I didnt no any better and thought it was awesome, well I've grown up and have common sense now. Its annoying as f**king hell!!!!!

I absolutely loved this album and still do today which is why I'm repurchasing it.

i was 14 when this c.d. was out now im a Senior its hard to believe, this c.d. is great!

Most of this album is pretty damn good. It's Kelis so she's not sounding like Beyonce or Ciara. Check out "Like You." It blew my mind--I mean Kelis is pretty damn brave to use Mozart in a song! "Like a Star" is worth a listen too. "Appreciate me" is beautiful and you should check that song out too. Die-hard Kelis fans will not be disappointed!! In my opinion it's her best album since her first.
