Music Dogs Love: While You Are Gone

This was a total disappointment and a waste of $9.99. The point is to sooth and relax your dog while you are gone not start off each song with laughing kids, quacking ducks, a strange woman talking. All this does is make my dog anxious that there's strange kids around, it teases her that there are ducks outside the door and that there's a strange woman in the house. The sample clips are deceiving because they do not include the first 20 seconds of the song which includes these counterproductive sounds.

Unfortunately, this album makes my dogs bark like crazy because there are a multitude of critters (birds, pigeons, roosters) and other dogs making noises throughout the entire CD! It is quite lovely for humans to listen to but I would not dare turn it on and leave my house.....the dogs (three Yorkies) go nuts barking at the other strange sounds. I would fear being evicted or arrested for disturbing the peace. I guess it depend on the dogs, but it is not for me/us!

Bought this for my dog as a joke, but he really loves it! Guess the jokes on me.

Wasnt sure about this but it actually is quite good. Maybe even great! :-). Give it a spin for your dog.

My dog had his eyes closed in the first 45 seconds of the music! I am stunned. He is a 7 month old border collie mix who took all of the paper out of the office garbage can while I was searching for this cd. While he is resting to the music I can now clean up all of the shredded paper!

My pups really love this CD. I like the way the sound effects add a little to the music rather than just music by itself. The music is the main part so the effects give it alittle something special but doesnt drive them crazy. Keeps them interested at least, its when they get bored I start to worry.

The barking dogs, meowing cats and other animal noises only made my dog anxious. When he is home alone the last thing he needs is to hear a barking dog in the distance. He wanted to find the other dogs, cats and animals. The intermittent dialogue also made him perk up, not relax. The desired effect is to have him more relaxed when I am gone. Definitely something I wish I had not purchased. The music is excellent but with all the animal sounds and dialogue it just agitated my pet. He is pretty mellow with just the radio on. I thought this would be a nice change for him.

Wonderful CD. My dog Billy loves it. Have all the series and they are all good. Put it on when I go to work and seems to really help.

I leave my dog everyday for work and usually leave the radio on. This music is so much better, I find it very calming even for myself. I love the sound effects of birds chirping, children playing and other animal noises. My husband thought I was crazy when I showed it to him, but I told him it was like yoga music for our dog. He laughed and asked if I had caught her doing "downward dog" yet! Too funny, maybe she will......
