Wrong genre

Unfortunately, The Return was mistakenly categorized as a "horror" film. It is not. But, it's not a bad movie, either - I think it's just a let down to some people when they come to see a film expecting one thing and getting something wildly different.
The Return is a grey-canvased love story, first and foremost. That's about all I can say without giving too much away. I think the movie poster does the film a great dis-service, once again giving people the wrong idea.
The film is very artistic and worth seeing - and Dario Marianelli doesn't miss a beat with this haunting composition.
