Who'd have thought Gomer could sing? I installed an old 8-track car radio in my tree house when I was little (mid '90s) and needed a tape to play with which had some good music, but was not so treasured that I would mind losing it to the dirty/ humid environment of the back yard. As it turns out, 8-tracks were built to last and the tape spent several years plugged into that radio. To this day I associate the smell of plywood and masonite with "My Cup Runneth Over With Love".

This man has a set of pipes that, in my opinion, rivals Pavarotti. Although some of Jim Nabor's interpretations of the music is not what I'm used to, the skill, clarity, and fullness in which he sings is enough to make anyone enjoy him. I would totally encourage everyone to buy this album.

As a teenager these songs helped me through some of the saddest and hardest times. They helped me try harder to endure, and I did. I am 55 now and still remember them. I am buying this for my son.
