Amil had talent. No other way i can say it. She could rap and hold her own against against the best in the game (at that time), Jay-Z. No wonder he chose her to be the fem fatale of his "Dynasty". The 4 MCs that consisted of Jay, Amil, Beanie Sigel, and Memphis Bleek. This album showcases everything that made this girl such a standout. Her voice is unique yet down to earth, and her rhymes are equally down to earth, yet lyrical enough to keep hip hop heads entertained. Beat selection is tight, and many of the songs are catchy. She doesn't have a long list of guest appearances and doesnt need them. Amil is the star of this show and she never let's you forget it. She carries the songs, not the beats or the hooks. She plays high maintenance on a few tracks but that was just a persona. A thorough listen to the album reveals she's actually a chick that'll ride for her man no matter his net worth. This album is one of my very favorite Roc-a-fella releases, and is at least in my eyes, a classic.

Amil is like in my top 3 for female rappers. Her album helped me get through alot of things and she didn't deserve to get booted from Rockafella. VH1 had a show about female rappers and I saw all differnt types of woman. (sizes too) No one should be judged by how they look on the outside. SMDH!! The world is too hard on woman. It's like a new aged-history!
