  • Perfect for a Devout Monkees Fan!

I can not imagine a better stroll down the memory lane we call "The Monkees!" I love each song; it is quality music from an era of love, obsession, and pure, unadulterated fun. Haters, go find something else!

  • A Great Album, But Too Many Mistakes

I bought this album a long time ago, and it took me a few months to notice there were mistakes in this album (similar to "Missing Links Vol. 2). For instance, tracks 23 ["Valleri (2006 Remastered First Recorded Version)"] and 26 ["I'll Be Back Up On My Feet (2006 Remastered First Recorded Version)"] are the versions from "The Birds, the Bees, and the Monkees"; Track 4 ["Hold On Girl (2006 Remastered Original Stereo Version)"] plays the same as track 29 ["Hold On Girl (2006 Remastered First Recorded Version)"]. Also, despite the title, track 6 [(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone (2006 Remastered Original Stereo Version)"] plays the mono version instead. The rest of this album is pretty much what it should be. If you are like me, and would want to fix the mistakes for your own devices, I suggest picking up from "Missing Links, Vol. 2"

Be Very Careful. I just listen to the samples of two songs this collection has to offer. "Valleri" and "I'll Be Back Up On My Feet". These are NOT the 1966 versions found on the deluxe edition CD "More Of The Monkees". They are the versions found on "The Birds, The Bees And The Monkees" CD.
  • Gotta love the Monkees

Even though I love modern music listening to The Monkees brings back a bit of simple innocence and young love.
