Similar to everthing they've released post the Hallucinations EP, I regret purchasing this album. I'm fine with change and understand why they've ventured further into the pop genre, but Evergreen offers nothing for its audience. From Evergreen's recycled and annoying electronic beats to Gunn's oversynthesized voice and vapid lyrics, the entire album is one-dimensional. Although I didn't thoroughly enjoy Use Me, that album at least had a few enjoyable pop songs that could be shuffled into their discography.
  • Lazy, overproduced, and uninspiring

Dont know what happened to this band or why they switched sounds when what they had before was something great. Sounds like every other generic alternative pop band, don’t waste your time.
  • It's PVRIS, it's great

Love how these babies keep reviewing each album after White Noise as "garbage" and "pop trash" when multiple songs on White Noise can easily fall into the Pop category (White Noise, Empty, Eyelids, Holy). All 3 of PVRIS's previous albums have been a mix of Pop, Punk, and Rock, and Evergreen is no different. If you liked any of PVRIS's previous releases, you'll like this one too.
  • PVRIS isn’t defined by one genre, and that’s for the best.

Lynn is able to choose the music she wants to create - as great as White Noise is, artists are healthier and happier when they can evolve their taste and craft over time. It may not be the same style or genre anymore, but each PVRIS record is a work of art that deserves to be listened to.

they never miss, plain and simple
  • Why is this being listed as rock?

Pvris is not a rock band anymore, plain and simple. They have full changed genres for the worse. Stop listing them as rock. It’s dishonest and an insult.
  • Billie Eyelash Wannabe Junk

There are few bands/artists that have nose dived as hard as Pvris. White Noise is GOATED but this new Billie Eyelash wannabe junk from them just ain’t it. What a waste of Lynn’s unique voice.

Hard for some, yet vital to an artist Lynn has a voice that adds power and emotion like a little bomb waiting to go off. Love the new stuff. Keep it coming
