With most Queens who release music, you can sort of say that “if you’ve heard one you’ve heard them all.” Trixiw took a classic beat and a timeless style but made it her own. Such a standout from the crowd in the best ways; aesthetically, musically and otherwise this bop is the only thing getting me through the day. Love it.

I was transported to an alternate dimension where I wasn’t born in the late nineties but instead I was born on a small farm in 1950’s Iowa. I helped my 22 other siblings out on the farm, of course, but I was never fully satisfied. After my father forced me to drop out of school in 1966, I was devastated. I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life toiling in a corn field or shooting coyotes who came after the chickens. I wanted to be something more. So I fled the farm and moved the The Big City™️ and the moment I entered the city this song started ominously playing in my head as I partook in a montage of meeting strangers, buying clothes somehow even though I used all my money to escape Iowa, and acquired a rundown apartment through country charm and a mild sexual favor. Time Travel is possible through the magic of Trixie Mattel. Go time travel. It’s fun.
