That is very debatable. Some of this is catchy, yes, but r&b? I don't think so. Eric, at least nowadays, his music is more about a melodic vibe and catchy hooks, but not really soulful or real r&b. These can be catchy, but I wish he could just make great music, songs that will stand the test of time, over a almost 10 career he only has probably about 4 or 5 songs that could stand up against the great songs in all time r&b.
