  • Some Beautiful Songs

I am not into JPOP music in the slightest and typically the type of music I listen to is the furthest thing from this(old country music), but when I watched Love Live and saw Muse perform their songs I was impressed and it just made me happy. And even though I don’t think I would like the music if not for being able to visualize the characters singing it, because I feel like I know the girls singing it I really enjoy the music. Then I went on to the second series and listened to Aqours and while I give the edge to Muse in the happy up tempo songs(nothing can beat “start dash” and “no brand girls”) Aqours has the most beautiful music I’ve ever heard. Their voices together just mesh so well together and the harmonies are unbelievably pleasing to the ear. “Kisekihikaru” in particular takes the top spot as the absolutely most beautiful song I’ve ever heard and the very first time I heard it I was blown away. Musically and vocally it is flawless, then I read the translated lyrics and it became even more beautiful. “Soramo kokoromo harerukara” and “Omoiyo hitotsuninaru” are two others that just blow me away in their beautiful music and voices. I hate that of all the songs on here it didn’t have “thank you friends” which is another that is stunning and I had to go get individually. “My mai tonight” is a very unique and impressive song with a traditional Japanese music sound that is very nicely arranged. “Mijuku dreamer” has a similar sound but not as traditional sounding. There are a few others that are really good and then some that I don’t care for as much but when you have to buy an album for the ones you really like you just have to do it.
