Discs are split into electric, acoustic and live performances with my favorite blues man riding the Crest of a Wave circa 1982. Check out Prison Blues and Who’s That Comin as samplers; but you can dig much deeper with Muddy Waters and Albert King showing up here as well as Lonnie Donegan! There are guitar heroes and then there’s the hard working, talented and soulful approach that is uniquely Rory’s which rivals them all!!! These recordings are one of the finest “posthumous” collections of any artist in any genre. Thanks!

This is a fantastic collection of unearthed classic Rory! Nearly all, if not all, is previously unreleased and perfectly complements, not duplicates, his previous releases! Rory’s playing and singing on this collection ranks among his finest...Lou Martin’s piano playing here is the best I’ve heard as well! The sound quality is top notch...only very few of the live tracks are not quite maximum quality. Overall it sounds like these were recorded yesterday, not 35-40 years ago...highly recommended!!
