This is one of the greatest bodies of work I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. Very moving, brought tears to my eyes, it grabbed hold of my heart and stopped me in my tracks as soon as I heard the first few notes of the Plan & Elevation, with my personal favorite being, part V. The Beech Tree, for those of you who truly have a passion for classical music, or just a lover of beautiful music in general, you will love this, it is an absolute masterpiece.

I love what Caroline Shaw does here with voicing and textures and timbres and awareness of overtones. As far as I’m concerned, the perfect amount of minimalism to be arresting. It wouldn’t be so easily apparent without the wonderful playing here. So clear, so dramatic.

Exceedingly boring.

An incredibly interesting and beautiful CD. The combination of Caroline Shaw and Attacca is truly a tour de force.

Amazing! They are fun and dynamic group on stage and on recording.
