There are a few iconic albums that everyone should own. Debut album from Boston, Fleetwood Mac’s Rumors and this one. Right from the start, the Go Go’s wrote smart, catchy songs, so forget any preconceived notions that they were a superficial pop band. These woman are as talented as any group out there!

I don’t want to return to senior year of h.s.; I’m happy with my life, thank you very much. But this reminds me how it felt to be young and unsure—the excitement, joy, and anxiety/angst of it. Their sublime music is due a new generation of fans.

Yes, everyone knows the hit songs like We Got the Beat and Our Lips Are Sealed, which are fantastic songs by the way, but this whole album is one of the most underrated new wave albums of the '80's. There are plenty of great songs that compliment their two big hits, such as Our Town, How Much More, and a personal favorite, Skidmarks on My Heart. This album gives off a fantastic summer vibe and is a great listen from start to finish. Highly recommended.
