Chris is amazing. A fresh pop sound. I think to really understand Chris abs the album you need to watch live performances. The choreography is incredible and Chris is such a good dancer. I’m still upset Chris ended their run on the Florence + the Machine tour before they got to Toronto. Great album and even though I don’t know French in enjoy listening in both languages.

AN ALBUM!!!!!

I learned of Christine and the Queens while watching HBO's Girls; I have been in love ever since. This album is nothing short of amazing.

Jams Jams Jams

This album works however way you slice it: as a deconstruction of femininity, an exploration of gender power dynamics, a treatise on being queer in the 21st century, and if none of that interested you, it’s also just a great collection of danceable pop songs. Chris - the performer and the album - contains multitudes, and the songs just get richer the more you listen to them. Start with track one - in English or in French - and I dare you to stop listening after that. Make sure you have headphones in, or you’re blasting it real loud. That’s the only way to do Chris justice.
