Lips On You is one sensual song. More like this please. In fact an album with songs like these telling the story of seduction. If you do make that album - it would be a very creative path.

If I had to rank any album I’ve listened to, this album would easily be in the bottom 20 like it’s unlistenable. Terrible album title as well, was Levine not aware about the Red Pill movement? Also that is the laziest cover I’ve ever seen. Just snapchat filters. As for the music itself, it illustrates my biggest problem with Maroon 5. They used to be a good band but they gave up their values for chart success and it’s very blatant on this album. Adam Levine tries to rap at least several times on the album (most notable being Cold and Girls Like you). Before they made this album, James Valentine teased of a more Songs About Jane type album and is this what they see Songs About Jane as? I would rather be a Prisoner of War in the Middle East and be tortured 24 Hours a Day with both Nickelback and Imagine Dragons playing simultaneously than to EVER have to listen to this album again. Please! Spend your money elsewhere.

Love this album wait and cold are my faves, don’t know why everyone is hating this, bands have to change to stay relevant nowadays. Good job Adam

They had to sit around while Adam sang and some other guy did the synths. The rest of the band seems to exist just to play the songs live. That being said, this isn’t horrible. I have a feeling that M5 will get even worse in the future, so this isn’t going to be their worst ever. However, this just isn’t them. It’s either the record label taking over or them becoming complete sellouts. Also, the Cardi B collaboration. Really? That was a horrible thing to do. Sure, she isn’t the worst, but that verse was just horrifying, especially the last line of it. That was just to get radio play, of course. They have it in them. I believe in you, Maroon 5. You were my favorite band when I was younger, and we all want you to fix yourselves. And no, I’m not saying you should just be clones of your past selves. I’m saying that you should make music with actual substance. I appreciate the honesty on some of these songs, but it’s still too watered down for my taste. Remember: It’s not too late to become the band that actually touches hearts while getting good airplay. Please.
