My Favorite Tracks: -Top Down -Plead The 5th -11 Hour Nap -Snow Storm Review: I really like Neon Icon. I like Trench Coat Towers. I love Peach Panther. I think Aquaberry Aquarius is OK. Here's my take on The White West... After first listen: The White West is weaker than all four of those previously mentioned major releases. With WW, you get average beats, less than average energy from RiFF this time around, and a lot of disappointment. Some of these tracks had SO MUCH POTENTIAL, like "Jocking My Style" for example. Great beat, decent hook, but the recording quality is so low that it distracts from the overall track so much. While listening, all I could think about is how great the track COULD have been. The highlight from the album is "Top Down." This was the only track where I felt like I was hearing vintage, energetic, Versace-flame-spitting Rap Game Bo Jackson Peach Panther. It felt in line with his previous work on Peach Panther and Neon Icon. There's not much to gain from this album. It's fully stocked with average tracks and rough freestyles, and not much else. I'll give this album another listen, and hopefully I appreciate it a bit more.
