I remember hearing this when I was a kid after 30 years it still holds up… such great times give it a chance or you’ll be all by yourself

It’s just awesome from the emotions in burnout,to the anger in having a blast,to the feelings that somehow agree with you in chump,to the teen angst in Longview it’s just too awesome welcome to paradise when you listen to this album my favorite is Pulling Teeth!
Simply the best punk albums of the 90s.

Music Still Holds Up But Loses Its Novelty

Cant argue with how influential this album is. Basically every 13 year old kid getting into alternative music is going to listen to Dookie. Most of the songs are super catchy and fun. But as I've gotten older I can't shake the feeling that most of Green Days music is for 12 year olds. That would be fine, but Billie Joe doesn't seem to realize the music is for 12 year olds. At least Blink-182 admits that their music is written for teenagers. The immature goofiness of the songs wear off after a while. "omg, he's singing about playing with himself ho ho ho!"
