  • Side 2 has an error

While I enjoy this album, Side 2 - I first noticed it myself, but Wikipedia confirmed it for me - has a few seconds lopped off its beginning and a full 30 seconds lopped off its end. Very clumsy. Call me purist, but I don't dig my Beatles being tampered with. I'll wait to buy it until after that's corrected...

To put it in the nicest way possible, if I wanted to hear John Lennon make random noises, I'd listen to Revolution 9. Avoid this album.

Always nice to hear some avant-garde composition from one of the truly great songwriters, something that's not pop for once.

Calling this bizarre and terrible is an understatement. Buy some of Lennon's real music such as "Woman", "Steppin' Out" or "Mind Games". This is awful!!!

......it wreaks of stomach aches, flatulence, out of tune guitars, out of tune voices, and just well, out of tune. This from me, a guy who could not wait for more real Lennon before he was taken from us. Yoko Ono can get all the sympathy she needed, and needs, as her husband was murdered, but as far as this garbage, I'd rather buy a homeless man a dinner than spend $9 bucks on this. And in some way, John understands.

.... But hey, it's John & Yoko's first work together. I don't really see where remastering this would make it any better, but I'm sure it will sound better than previous cd releases, many of the ripped from vinyl. So if you're a J&Y fan, even to the point of their freakier endeavors, pick this up!
