What can I say that hasn’t been said already. I’m not good at reviews, so I’ll just say a few words that I think of when I listen to the great Van Morrison… Joy Brilliance Pain Gratitude Summertime First Love Slow Dancing Also: How I can’t sing and my neighbors thinking the same most likely, but who cares. You cannot listen to Van Morrison and not sing

This is another best in class. VM is as diverse as Harvard. His ballads are great . The jazz is bluezzy and cool and the rock is solid. This is fantastic for playing from first track through last. Additionally who hasn’t had a “Brown Eyed Girl “ in their life on some level. Recommend HIGHLY scdjax...

It would have been even better if Wavelength was included
  • Because they do not offer a 30 star

It's Van Morrison. There are not enough stars to do it justice. Stop reading. Go listen.

By home's where the heart is
My honey, myself, luggage, and lunch pail - ( just a tote bag full of food - was even given a nice new one while traveling - might use 'em both - food and I've always been friends ) - all arrived in Mississippi intact after taking a Saturday over-night Greyhound out of downtown Dallas. Last rode a Greyhound at about age 14. Seats have remained the same size - I have not. Nonetheless starting a Sunday not that far down the road from Tupelo and thinking of Van Morrison's " Tupelo Honey " , it's on this album that I've been getting songs from as needed. One day I'll break down and get (buy) the whole thing. Just listened to some of his new Album "Keep Me Singing" and want it too. Sunday morning and I'm plopped down right in the middle of the South awaiting a mid-day train. First smoke break - Birmingham - never been - almost this summer- so here I come - got there, had a couple cig's, met a few folks, and back on board. Was there, but not for long. Ahead a whole afternoon of traveling through Alabama and Georgia hill country - so very scenic, and you know, not once did I notice the ole stars and bars (Confederate Flag). Not the case in many past journey's through the South. Guess as Americans have learned how to lot's of folks it's a symbol of so many undesirable things, its not displayed as much- and I didn't see it at all. I was watching out window's on both sides as we made our way through back yards, small towns and was pleasantly surprised. No surprise, when I got home, and was able to eat my honey, with comb, right out the jar. It wasn't Tupelo honey, found it in North Texas, a South Texas Orange Blossom Honey, especially mmm mmmm good ! Few things are as satisfying as eating a great honey right out of the jar. ( Now if this here honey's so good, wonder what other tasty treats they've been turning out in Texas that I've been missing ? )
