If you were or are a fan of Judy Collins and some or all of the other artists....Jackson Browne, Willie Nelson, Jimmy Buffet,...to name only a few, you must have this album! This is a brilliant piece of work.
  • Unbelievably Beautiful Beginning to End

Each duet is a jewel… I didn’t know how much I missed this pure music. Judy’s voice is incredibly unchanged (better?) The song choices, the partners on each duet… I am entranced. I can only imagine how amazing it would be to see these duets in a televised concert… PLEASE?!?

I heard her interview on the Diane Rehm radio show on NPR. Well done interview and story of how this album came together. This collection is superb and longtime fans will enjoy. Her voice is wonderful.
  • Liner notes now available from Judy.

I really am annoyed that the composer of songs doesn’t get downloaded (except some of the time) with the info that comes down from wherever it comes from. Since it’s there sometimes, it’s not that it can’t be done. Also, I’ve done searches on some songwriters and found songs where it does;t download, but it must be in that info somewhere. More extensive liner notes may be a reason to buy the hardcopy CD. Happily, in this case, you can see the info now for Judy’s releases on her new website! So, I guess I’ll go ahead and buy this via iTunes, and hand enter the info I want from Judy’s site. I sure wish that ITunes/Apple would provide a better path for this.

This is an amazing album. Each song better than the next. I desperately need the liner notes!

Judy Collins with Willie Nelson give a mystical reading of “When I Go” — by the great Dave Carter, of Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer fame. Check out Tanglewood Tree and their body of work.

I have listened to Judy Collins since 1969. After all these years, her voice is still one of the most beautiful I have ever heard. She is simply timeless. Congratulations on these songs and the many collaborations on this album.
