When I first heard this soundtrack, I realized that the originals had stronger vocals than in the OBCR. I listen to this more than the OBCR. Tracie Thoms has pretty strong vocals and I was surprised that Rosario Dawson actually had a good voice! This movie was not the favorite but the musical performances were excellent! Go buy this soundtrack! The voices of the originals grew stronger to make this soundtrack even better!

RENT is one of the gresteast phenomenas ever. Its music and story has moved the entire earth, and we owe it all to Johnathan Larson. I have always loved RENT, ever since I was a little kid, and now today I have wanted more than anything for my school to put on a production of this show, because the character of Mark Cohen is one of my dream roles. i saw this musical on broadway 7 times in the movie theatre about 4 times , and i have all the soundtracks , broadway version and movie soundtrack , they are all phenomenal , if u live the life i live , u will truly enjoy this !
