My god! Just look at how freaking beautiful she was back then. It's hard to see now that she's hardened with time, but in the early days Madonna made complete love to the camera and it made love right back. The eyes. The skin. The soft-focus technicolor. Everything about her is luscious and alluring, like candy (not "Hard" candy but more like soda pop or cotten candy). I don't think anyone's done it so well since. Everything she did in front of camera back then just captivated us. Magic. Charisma. Youth. Siren beauty. She was our fantasy. I miss this Madonna. (But still a huge fun, of course).
