pros: i love the message of this music video, it really shows the "behind the scene" of houses during the 50s period, and how everything is hidden by a curtain. it is realistic in some spots, it has a bright and sunny mood, but the meaning is the complete opposite. smooth choreography and isn’t too edgy. transitions are sometimes repetitive but some are smooth. (my favorite part was when the door of the closet opens and cuts to the mans face.) cons: camera angles are terrible and stiff at many points of the video, especially when they danced. it made the whole thing awkward, maybe that was their intention, but i don’t like it. the transitions from one room to the next, to a different scene, or anything really kind of bugs me. i like that you move with the person who the camera is focused on, but it’s used a lot. now Idk much about this but this is my opinion and I’m too lazy to add more stuff to the lists.

Funny, dark humor - P!nk at her best!!!

she’s portraying a married couple from the 1950s. everything her & channing are doing goes against what was considered the “societal norm” for the time period. it’s meant to be upbeat & comical without tons of sense behind it. but it’s also showing how households aren’t picture perfect, and things go on behind closed doors that the rest of us don’t know about. cleverly, it’s also meant to be a spoof of fred astaire & ginger rogers. from what i can tell, it’s beyond clever.
