This album sounds like 'Angie the Opera Diva' is out with the girls for a night of Christmas songs karaoke. For the English language songs her pronunciation and intonation are dreadful. It’s as if she’s reading the words for the first time, which very well may be. The way she sings the songs one wonders whether she understands what the words mean at all. The orchestration is full of all obligatory holiday cheer clichés and really goes off tracks in a few songs, with percussion and electric guitar kicking in for good measure. A couple of songs are ok but can’t save the general feeling of disaster that this album is. Why Angie, why??
