This is one of my favorite albums by him, every song is at least decent. I bought this album 4 years ago and I am still loving it!

I'm the singer of a metal band from Dallas, TX called Blackened Heart. I spend a lot of time listening to metal, writing music, and reviewing albums that I love. This is one of them. Black Rain was a unique time in Ozzy's career. Ozzfest was in it's 10th year, and Zakk Wylde was still his live and touring guitar player. Sharon was still as energetic as ever and could often be seen on the side of the stage with Ozzy playing live. For a rare stint, Jason Newstead had just been fired from Metallica, and he was Ozzy's bassist for this one tour. Since The Osbourne's was still a cultural phenomenon and was one of the most popular shows on TV it was a great time for Ozzy. Basically he was sitting at his throne and he was King of the World. Anyway, times change, he fired Zakk, and hired some other guitarist who by my account was much less interesting. Overall it's a great record, and should not be overlooked.
