Some people just love to criticize Lang Lang, maybe because of his extraordinary success and his gestures (truly felt, as can be appreciated from his Master Classes). This is yet another extraordinary record by him with superb playing, modulating sound with the modern piano (just as Mitsuko Uchida does, by the way) and subtly bringing out the more delicate parts of the score. I thoroughly recommend this superb album, Mozart sounds heavenly!

Can mess up Mozart. More self indugent, ego driven over romantic drivel. This disc was informed by nothing else than Lang's on out of control sense of self importance. I wonder where they found the videotape of Honocourt. This has blackmail written all over it. The man has too much good taste to be attached to this project. -Bz
