    This is not the album described here! It is not (thankfully) the terrible soft rock band of Buckingham/Nicks etc that culminated with the soporific “Rumors”. No, this is the earlier, blues driven band under the mighty genius of Peter Green when most influenced by the Grateful Dead, jazz and blues. The 3 Boston albums come from live shows in 1969. Check out the amazing Rattlesnake Shake.

    Don't give this album two stars. Peter Green is certainly one of the best blues guitarists ever, maybe the third best white bluesman (behind Clapton and SRV). Personally, I prefer his playing to many more highly-lauded guitarists.
