This has an amazing blues groove. It is a modern blues classic with a very real old school feel. I love this album and without a doubt Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters and Robert Johnson would love it too. If you love great music, song writing and the blues, then you will love this one. Recommended without hesitation.

I love the experiments on this one. Really inventive use of African instruments and rhythms mixed with modern studio techniques. "Cure for Love" ought to be one of her well-known sings--it's as good and sky as any of her other sexy songs.

Not one of her best. Road Tested, Luck of the Draw, Nick Of Time, Streetlights, Taking My Time...get those first.
