These songs resonated with me just based on shared experiences. That Wynona has written and shared these songs is deeply healing for her, I am sure, and others who have dealt with the issues shared here. There is something very triumphant about a certain point in your journey when you have done the work and have found your own peace. The lyric “everything is not Ok, but I’m Ok with everything is the reality for many who have been through the things. Have always enjoyed her ability to give us the drama in her music and song delivery. These songs give us a much appreciated personal perspective. The one star reviews are sus. This is a great record.

You, Your Mom, & Ash Pulled up in her car & were whooping it up & loving life. Later, you pulled away & stood alone gazing out the window, beside me & thanked me for my service. You quietly said “ Peace” is the answer in this world. 14-years later, i was again your waiter at The Grand Floridian Resort @ Disney & you said the same thing as I waited on your family again. I have listened to Wynonna for years. This is not her style. She has a powerful voice and it is not being shown at all in this album. She used to sing her boots off. I want the feel it in my toes singing.

Airing family grievances this way is sad and petty. We can never know what you went through, but have some grace.

I mean, Wy is THEE KENTUCKY Queen. A little gospel, blue grass, folk , country all wrapped into one. 40 years later and she’s still putting out hits. LOVE !! Can’t wait for the rest
