Jimmy never ever > Swift never ever

I like some of the changes they do on gbsh and fmtih and of course I now like Taylor Swift's song but only in the Jimmy version. Guess she wrote an okay song after all now that I hear it the way I like it. But when I first heard that song performed by her, I rolled my eyes. And now I'm like "whaaaaaaat!?" ;-) Such a 180 degree turn now.

Just like the new Damage album is fabulous (it's Clarity meets Chase this Light in my opinion) Jimmy Eat World nailed it! it's nice to see these new versions of the songs. They are new and add a bit of an edge, but not so new as to lose the beauty of the originals. And the Taylor Swift cover is just genius! Just one question: when are they going to release the "Only Girl in the World" cover?
Best song is a cover

Sounds more like their old stuff, shame they didn't write the song first, rather this version making it to the airwaves than Swift's bleak version. Yes if agree JIMMY EAT WORLD sounds better than swift
This album is a must buy

After seeing them perform at First Avenue on the 8th they cemented their amazing talent in my head as one of the best bands ever! Awesome unexpected album and awesome that they included the Taylor Swift cover. Heard it in concert and now I can play it whenever I want! Woooooooooooooo!
I don't see the point

It's good, but the only song really done differently is for me this is heaven... Which sounds awesome btw but still I wish they did them all acoustic or something. And the Taylor cover isn't too cool...
Amazing!

This album was really touching to me, and it made me look back at how far this band has come. The last song on the album is really a culmination (that I felt was lacking) on their Damage album. I was joking with a friend that their new album was no Taylor Swift break up album, and it surprised me to see this, but they spun her song in such a way as to sound emotional and triumphant. I loved the acoustic version of "For Me This is Heaven" and their throwback performances were incredibly well done and possibly even more mature. Jimmy Eat World has matured so much in the past three years while not discounting their roots, and growing up with them has really gotten me through some rough times.
